I’m one month into training, eight weeks post back surgery and back to work for two weeks on light duty. I have successfully gotten up to walk on my treadmill before work and followed all my coaches instructions. I am NOT a morning person …..even though I am not treating patients my first full day of work I was in bed by 6:30 PM. I was so worn out!! I’m off to bed most evenings early. Between the exercise, work and healing I was very tired by the end of the day! Sleep is a good thing! It is healing! I must listen to my body!
I have craved may things and my coach has helped me figure out why I was craving certain things and what to do! I have learned to make a mean smoothie with avocado, cottage cheese, almond butter, almond milk and stevia liquid. It does wonders for my love of chocolate I love pizza and after 4 weeks of eating very good, I got to have a slice of pepperoni pizza! I enjoyed every bit of it! Along with a big salad. I had a very happy and satiated tummy! Now that craving should be good for a while.
I have lost 6 pounds, an inch and a half from my waist and am feeling stronger every day. I do my core strengthening every day religiously, walking and stretching the heck out of my hamstrings and feel like I am on the right road to recovery and crushing everyone on the road soon So when you finally see me on the road, beware!! I will be doing epic shit soon!
