Ben Faulk set the "unofficial" track record at the Giordana Velodrome in the kilometer time trial with a 1:10:99 on June 21st. (All records are "unofficial" to date as they work out their timing systems.) Nothing unofficial about setting the record! Awesome!
On June 9th TotalCyclist athlete Andrea Hilderbrand won the Powerade State Games Mountain Bike Race in the Cat 2 Women's field, making her the state champion. Nice job Andrea!
TotalCyclist pro mountain biker Bonnie Kleffman placed 3rd in the South Eastern Regional Cup (SERC) race at the Tiger Rag in Clemson, SC on Sunday, June 24. TC Coach and Cat 1 mountain biker Laura Gleason placed 7th in the Tiger Rag in a combined pro and expert women's division.
Jeff McConaghy took 10th place in the 8 hour Tree Shaker held at the Anne Springs Close Greenway on Saturday June 23 in early summer hot temperatures.
