Peter Kay has over 15 years of experience racing and touring. At the age of 14 he conquered his first Assault on Mt. Mitchell and fell in love with road cycling. It wasn't until almost 10 years later, after completing degrees at Furman University and USC, that he began to race competitively. Now riding for the Harrell's Bicycle World squad out of Columbia, SC, Peter can be seen at dozens of races in the region.
Though a sprinter naturally, Peter loves to ride the mountains of North and South Carolina - especially Caesar's Head.
You can often find him there in the depths of winter, pounding the hills and clawing his way to the summit. Come join him!
